Check Computer GPO from command line

gpresult | find “CN=%computername%”

During the prerequisites checks in our installation routine of Office SharePoint Server 2007, we are required to douclecheck if the server is in the right OU before starting the installation.  Although there are many more sophisticated ways to do this (e.g. using Powershell and the .Net class “System.DirectoryServices.DirectorySearcher” ), this one is easy to remember:

gpresult | find “CN=%computername%”
